Hope your day is going smooth so far. If not, maybe you should take 5 and check out my list of favorites to see if any of these wonderful goodies are missing from your life. I’m keeping today’s post short n sweet so without further ado…
Here are the faves!
- Warby Parker Glasses– Talk about a company that got it right. Style, quality, price, convenience… what else could you ask for?! Here’s how it works: Go to their site and choose 5 frames to try on at home. It’s honestly hard cause there are soOoOo many great styles and I wanted to try nearly all of them. Warby Parker mails the selected 5 frames to you, you have 5 days to decide which pair suits you best. Then you mail the all the testers back to them and place your order for your chosen frames online! The whole “trying on” process is free, the one part you pay for is your final frames if you decide to order. If you don’t know your prescription you could even use your phone or laptop to do an at home prescription check that they’ve linked up! (They make this whole process way easy!) You also have the option to purchase Reader Glasses as well if you aren’t in need of a prescription. Oh and if you didn’t think they could be any more amazing; For every pair purchased, a pair is distributed to someone in need! UGHHH we love a company that gives back.
- RX Bars– Wholesome ingredients & great taste. I’ve recently been replacing more & more processed foods in my diet for more whole foods. I was once (still sorta am) a huge fan of sugary protein bars that are for the most part “healthy” but had about two times the sugar content of RX bars. The fact that I can say and recognize EVERY SINGLE ingredient in RX bars makes me feel even better about consuming them. Currently, my two favorite flavors are the Chocolate Sea Salt & Chocolate Chip bars. Containing: 3 egg whites, 6 almonds, 4 cashews, 2 dates, “No B.S.”, chocolate, sea salt y nada mas! Even though these bad boys are a great clean snack choice, I wouldn’t be eating more than 1 a day as the calorie content can add up.
- Tumeric Curcumin– Say goodbye to belly bloat!!! I’m serious. I can’t speak for every human body, but I can speak for mine! Tumeric is researched as one of nature’s most powerful anti-inflammatories. I began taking a daily Tumeric Curcumin supplement to reduce inflammation in my body for over-all better health (as there are so many benefits to reducing chronic inflammation) but had no idea it would have this much of a positive effect on my gut health. It helps with my digestion & preventing gas and bloat. I can now maintain a flat stomach from taking two 1500mg capsules a day with either my lunch or dinner. - Uninvited– I’m in the process of reading three books right now…yes three…talk about indecisive! (SMH) One of the books being Uninvited. Even though I haven’t completed this book, I want to recommend this book to you guys because so far it’s such a good read with such an important reminder that we all have individual tendencies for handling rejection, feeling unworthy, and desiring a love that is unfailing. But bringing our fears and insecurities to God can help us learn to love and be loved despite all our faults. For those of you who want to check it out…here’s the link! Uninvited Paperback
